Graduate Profile

Graduate Profile is a description of the character, attitude, knowledge and skills that graduates are expected to develop during their studies in order to equip these graduates for further study or work. The profile of graduates provides the foundation for attributes of graduates’ qualifications.

Profile of graduates of the Bachelor of Ocean Engineering Study Program are as follows.

PL-1

Engineer: An ocean engineer who is able to work independently and actively in a team to design, construct, supervise and maintain marine and coastal structures based on engineering principles while considering standards, codes, rules, regulations, guidelines and recommended practices.

PL-2

Enterpreuneur: An ocean engineer who is able to carry out entrepreneurial activities related to the field of marine engineering and its supporting fields.

PL-3

Manager: An ocean engineer who masters the competencies of planning, execution, supervision and evaluation in an organizational system to carry out operations or projects in the field of ocean engineering and is able to adapt in a cross-cultural environment while maintaining norms, ethics and morals.

PL-4

Academics / Researcher: A ocean engineer who is able to act academically, think scientifically and has a willingness to learn continuously.
