Academic Regulations

STUDY PERIOD EVALUATION

The longest study period for undergraduate students is 14 semesters.
Student evaluation is conducted at the end of semesters two and four.
Students are allowed to continue their studies if: a) At the end of semester two, they have passed 18 credits out of 36 credits taken in the preparation stage with an IP ≥ 2.0. b) At the end of semester four, they have completed all the preparatory stage loads (36 credits) with an IP ≥ 2.0 without D and E grades.
Students who are inactive for 2 consecutive semesters are considered to have resigned.

STUDY LEAVE

Students are allowed to apply for study leave after attending lectures for at least the first two semesters, except for illness and hospitalization or pregnancy, which are allowed to apply for leave even in the first semester.
Leave is given for a maximum of 4 semesters during study at ITS.
Each leave can be given for a maximum of 2 consecutive semesters.
Leave applications must be submitted to the Rector at the time of re-registration and no later than 4 weeks after the semester begins, except for students who are sick and hospitalized or pregnant. Applications must be accompanied by supporting documents approved by the academic advisor, head of department and dean.
Students who receive leave permission are required to pay administrative fees in accordance with applicable regulations.
Leave submitted by students who are sick and hospitalized or pregnant after the semester has been running for four weeks or more, the tuition fees that have been paid cannot be withdrawn.

GRADUATION

Graduation Requirements:
Students are declared to have graduated if they have successfully completed the entire study load of 144 credits including the final assignment and have the learning achievements targeted by the study program without grades D and E; and meet the minimum grade requirements for one of Foreign Language 477 and SKEM 1300. And upload 1 (one) scientific article based on the final assignment on the official ITS portal.
