Bachelor of Environmental Engineering has mastery of skills and knowledge in the field of design and infrastructure engineering related to the field of Environmental Engineering, including natural resource management, drinking water management, wastewater, garbage, and drainage as the main competencies, both those who work professionally in consulting and construction services, as well as in the industrial sector. Along with the increasing implementation of environmentally friendly development, the Environmental Engineering profession is very much needed in society. This includes the need for Environmental Engineering experts in preparing environmental evaluation documents, such as AMDAL.

Environmental Engineering graduates have mastery of skills and knowledge in the field of environmental management in an effort to prevent and implement control of liquid, solid and gas waste, as well as K3 as additional competencies in order to protect public health and the environment.

As an educator or trainer in an educational institution, Environmental Engineering graduates must be able to master the basic principles of appropriate technology, the latest/current technology in efforts to control, prevent, and restore polluted environments. In addition, the ability to apply basic sciences and formulate environmental engineering problems. Furthermore, this knowledge can be taught, shared and developed to stakeholders in efforts to preserve the environment comprehensively and integratedly.

The field of research and development is the spearhead in supporting the concept of environmentally conscious development along with the increasingly complex environmental problems. Innovation, improvement of processes and methods/technology are the tasks of Environmental Engineering graduates so that expertise in analysis and sustainable research is needed.

With the provision of engineering knowledge and environmental management, graduates have skills in the field of Environmental Engineering and are able to communicate the products/services they produce. As a civil servant/state-owned enterprise employee, Environmental Engineering graduates are required to demonstrate their abilities as leaders and policy makers related to the environmental field. Independent Professional Profile of the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Study Program of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology is a graduate who has the following criteria:
