1. On 1999 Metallurgical study program at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, ITS was founded  (based on the decision of the Minister of Education and Culture number 178 / DIKTI / Kep / 1998)
2. On August 2005 Bachelor Degree from Department Material and Metallurgical Engineering ITS got accreditation “B” from Accreditation Board National (BAN) PT No: 07520/AK-IX-S1-015/ITSQM/VIII/2005
3. On January 2011 Bachelor Degree from Department Material and Metallurgical Engineering ITS got the highest accreditation “A” from Accreditation Board National (BAN) PT No: 036/BAN-PT/AK-XIII/S1/I/2011
4. On November 2015 Bachelor Degree from Department Material and Metallurgical Engineering ITS got accreditation “A” from Accreditation Board National (BAN) PT No: 1155/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/XI/2015
5. On March 2017 Bachelor Degree from Department Material and Metallurgical Engineering ITS got accreditation “A” from Accreditation Board National (BAN) PT No: 119//SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/III/2018
6. On 2012 opened a postgraduate program based on Decree No. Mendibud RI Decree No 107 / E / O / 2013 dated 16 April 2013
7. On May 2014 Master Degree from Department Material and Metallurgical Engineering ITS got accreditation “B” from Accreditation Board National (BAN) PT No: 120/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/V/2014
8. On May 2018 Master Degree from Department Material and Metallurgical Engineering ITS got accreditation “B” from Accreditation Board National (BAN) PT No: 1002/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/IV/2018
