We are thrilled to announce that the Department of Civil Engineering at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is a partner in the prestigious CALOHEA project. This joint initiative falls under the Erasmus+ KA2 cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices, specifically focusing on capacity building in the field of higher education. The project is financially supported by the European Commission, coordinated by The University of Groningen, and co-coordinated by the ASEAN University Network.
CALOHEA aims to enhance the quality of higher education through international collaboration and innovative practices. It brings together a diverse group of institutions and experts dedicated to achieving these goals. The University of Groningen (RUG) is the project coordinator, responsible for the academic activities related to the adoption of the 3 Recognition Mechanisms, as well as the overall management of the project. Meanwhile, the ASEAN University Network (AUN) acts as the coordinator within the SEA region, leading all National Meetings, dissemination activities, and engaging key stakeholders such as policymakers. The AUN ensures that the CALOHEA project aligns with national and regional policies of the Partner Countries involved.
Our department has successfully conducted a national meeting on 2-3 March 2023. Through meetings, workshops, open discussions, and knowledge sharing, we are contributing to the ultimate goal of the CALOHEA Project: driving intra and interregional mobility.
